Element water

The water element is the opposite element to the fire element, but it also works together with it to create magic. The yin (feminine) provides a watery environment for the seed to germ and the baby/desire to grow, whereas the yang (masculine) provides the fiery drive necessary to propel the seed and make the egg burst into a new form of life.

On a more general level, the body of an average grown-up is made of 60% water and the life that it carries is driven by the drive of theri life force, the energy running through the meridians and the chakra system.

Water and fire work in pair. In the case of anxiety, the fire energy is being misdirected and the water energy is being under-used.

As a first reflex, drink more water. If you are suffering from anxiety or any case of inflammation, you should drink at least a gallon of filtered water a day, especially because you will exert yourself by exercising and eliminate toxins by your sweat and breath. 

If you can be around a source of water, it will help the fire in you to relax. If you can swim or take baths and frequent showers, make sure the water is not too hot, ideally lukewarm. Immerse your whole body into water as much as you can, let yourself sink into that element.

On an energetic level, water is the element of emotions. Working on your emotions will make this water energy flow in your body. Let yourself take a dive into your childhood and the root causes of this anxiety. Most likely you have PTSD of some sort and need to let yourself feel it.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or tapping is one of the techniques that has helped me sort out my emotions the most. I healed most of my PTSD through tapping and still use it as a tool every now and then. EFT Tapping and mind reprogramming

 

 

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a holistic technique of healing physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.

Associating traditional Chinese medicine and modern psychology, this technique allows you to rapidly create a balance in your energy system and trigger relaxation. According to its developer, Gary Craig, a disruption in energy is the cause of all negative emotions and pain.

Largely tested and approved by the scientific community, EFT tapping has been used with great success to treat people with anxiety, addictions and people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

 

Tapping doesn't need physical contact with a therapist. It is practiced as a dialogue, while the patient gently stimulates their own meridian points — or energy hot spots. The practitioner is leading them to express the points of disconnection within their emotional body, and to reprogram the mindset that has led to this disconnection, by repeating specific oriented affirmations.
